Great game! The use of totems makes play much more interesting than a typical match 3 game. You actually have to choose which match to make first so that you'll be able to make the second one that has big rewards. I also really liked that you have the option to replay any level to earn more coins. Very replay-able.

Good game generally, you have to think about where you are building things to get the task done in the time allotted. CANNOT figure out how to end it..I made enough money and bought the final level, but I am not allowed to work on it. It keeps telling me to finish all the other levels first, which are all done. I even went back to get all of them an expert score to see if that was it, but it isn't.. oh well
I have played an Amelie game previously. So I was aware of how important the running helpers (money, cleanup, happy customers, puzzle) at the bottom of the screen layout are to the success of each round. Pick the wrong ones at the wrong time and forget about getting expert. I didn't see much difference in this game except for the holiday costumes/figures. Not being able to pick your own upgrade (restaurant versus worker) is frustrating. Not only that, the game ramps up entirely too quickly. It is basically a winter rerun. If you like Amelie games, this one should fit you just fine.

I like HOG's, especially ones with interesting minigames, so I was in hog heaven (pun intended) for about the first half of this game. Then suddenly I realized that absolutely nothing was new or different, and that I was just playing the same screens and minis over and over and over and over again. I started to wonder if this thing had a conclusion, or any kind of plot advancement at all. I'm on Chapter 9 and I am doing the exact same stuff i was doing in Chapter 1, and 2, and 3, and 4....you get the idea. Solving the case of Victim #9 is the same as solving the case for Victim #1, and the others in between. At this point, all of the mini puzzles have been played before, and the game has become excrutiatingly boring. It's a shame that a game that started so well has to end so badly.

At first I didn't like Farm Frenzy Pizza Party as much as the other FF games. Much of that had to do with trying to remember the recipes for the pizzas. What keeps drawing me back to it is trying to get gold on all levels. It's not as easy as some of the other FF games, more strategy necessary. I'm on my third time through, still going for the gold, and enjoying it more each time.

When I tried this game I was just looking for something to while away an hour or so. I don't usually like card games but thought this would be a change. I am so glad I gave it a go. Solitaire with a difference. I love all the extra things and especially when playing with 2 packs. The Black Knight is brilliant. I love his comments. And I just have to have a go at the daily challenge. Another winner for Gamehouse!
