I have been playing this game for many, many years--I think it's different from most match 3 games in that you don't move pieces to make matches...you just have to find 3 or more that match. I love the way you can really rack up big points, and that when you've played thru the 100 levels and start over, you keep adding to your points. I have gotten up to 480 millions points with 650 lives. The trick to the difficult levels is to really focus and watch the time fuse at the bottom. Also, it helps to not focus on your next play...just go with what you see immediately.
The beginning gets you set up pretty well to understand the game. The side paths become much more difficult than the main path as the game goes on. This is really a puzzle game - not like some of the other puzzle games that have mini puzzle w/in. You have got to think this through. I found placing identical tiles near each other helpful when trying to figure out the final layout.
