Okay, I'm a grown-up, and my eyes aren't what they were when I was 10. But COME ON! A lot of the hidden objects just can't be seen, or the graphics are so poor that a sweet looks like a blob. The colors are bright, and the story is definitely geared toward elementary school children, but the hidden objects are difficult for me, and I'm a die-hard HO fan. The music is perky, but after listening to the same tune for 10 minutes I had to turn the sound off before it drove me crazy. I can't imagine that even kids would want to hear the same 24 bars over and over. There are hints available, and you can get more by finding golden strawberries that look like a locket to me. The mini-games are simple to moderate in difficulty. I think Alawar missed the mark here. The story is definitely for the kids, but the graphics make finding hidden objects very difficult.
I found the game to be enjoyable, and the story line was logical. The graphics were well done and the HOs were clear but required attention to collect all without using hints. The only critique I had was with the way it was necessary to travel back and forth repeatedly between scenes. The interactive map was a great help in reducing that, however. Overall, a good game, and one that can be saved and replayed again later.
