The voice actor pretty much nails the shtick of the typical game show host. Opponents seem easy to beat but occasionally one finds objects quick enough to make me sweat. People who enjoy "relaxed" mode may want to play the trial first since you're racing the clock in almost all games and minigames.
I love JQM games and was excited to get this one. Never been so frustrated with a game before. The screens are very dark, making it difficult to see what's in them. I had to turn my monitor brightness way up to play the game. The jewel boards move so slow that in the later boards I cannot finish them, and I always master these games quickly. Not this time. I don't know if it is incompatible with Windows Vista but it takes forever to load a screen. Most of the specials for the jewel boards are useless. The blaster and row cleaner are the best ones to use. There aren't as many areas to search as I expected. You keep going back to the same ones again and again. My kids can't play it at all. The objects are too hard to find for them and many are unfamiliar objects, things they've never heard of or seen. All in all, I wish I hadn't bought it.
